It is an enormous problem. They’re not actual capurings of reality at all.
Meaning? I have not edited these pictures what-so-ever… they’re straight from my phone camera and only changed in pixel width; that’s it. Filters? No editing (it was done way before transferring them from my camera phone to my personal computer) – it’s programmatic aesthetics. The out-of-focus-in-focus-colour-saturation bits are all calculated and heavily processed. But it is real! It is a photograph, right? Yes, it is photograph of some sort. Is it real? I don’t think so…
