A Green Bug Staring Me Down

They’re getting larger. It is by far the largest insect I’ve ever seen here about. Very docile, close up. Ogled me tough…

Tettigonia viridissima, the great green bush-cricket, is a large species of bush-cricket belonging to the subfamily Tettigoniinae.

The adult males grow up to 28–36 millimetres long, while females reach 32–42 millimetres. This insect is most often completely green (but there are specimens completely yellowish or with yellow legs), excluding a rust-colored band on top of the body.

…or it is intentionality? Observing me observing it. I’ll go for Darwin, it did see me and my movements. Maybe different scale, sun-light, ridiculously old camera-phone or could simply not be bothered?
