The Jönköping Shuffle

September 22nd, 2019 Comments off

Mentors are important and I claim it is true for every field of knowledge… theoretical as well as in study of the arts.

Personally, however every human non-destructive endeavor is art, by definition.

That, according to me (and possible my tutors) is a question of definition and that is well beyond of the scope of this text and what I’m actually trying to say/write/force onto reality.

Premise: you need to learn everything; yes, not excluding: walking, talking, climbing and cycling too. Being an educated human being is something grand and it needs to be; respected, appreciated and cherished!

Electronic music would pertain to the sphere of the arts’. So, what what exactly is the Jönköping Shuffle? A prime example could be the recently released: PSI49NET 103 & 104 12″ by the one and only A.Rother.

– Can you give any further information regarding the so called “Shuffle”?
– Sorry, I’m afraid I cannot do that.

However, I can assure you that it exists. You would have to look up: The Label. Waver, I’m not taking any responsibility. what-so-ever, not yesterday and not tomorrow.

My honest and heartfelt recommendation is the following, and it can never be anything but this simple advice. You just need to listen to the music. There’s just no other way around it, at all.

I am truly sorry regarding that fact and everything pertained to it. I’m eternally grateful for all the lessons and knowledge passed onto me. But, it is virtually impossible for me to extend my gratitude. Time is a passing so rapidly and immediate actions are needed.

“Case didn’t understand the Zionites. Aerol, with no particular provocation, related the tale of the baby who had burst from his forehead and scampered into a forest of hypoponic ganja. ‘Ver’ small baby, mon, no long’ you finga.’ He rubbed his palm across an unscarred expanse of brown forehead and smiled. ‘It’s the ganja’ Molly said. when Case told her the story.”
William Gibson, Neuromancer, 1984, (1993), HarperCollinsPublishers.

Actually inventing the future? Tall order for any woman or man…

PS. The photo has nothing to-do with Jönköping at all. It is in fact the “fade” as viewed from the balcony in the Bürg 2019 and nothing else. And, so says the Bürgmeister.

And by the way: the o.general thanks: the eternal creator. The bringer of the Word as it where.

The actual cap? Please see above. It, that is the detached label and the cap itself has its origin in the past and is worn proudly whenever it is in use.

Project 7005

I’m looking for a front wheel with disc break and a fork; both in aluminium (the fork must be non-dampened obviously…).

I realized (late) that 26″ is a somewhat unusual rime size and it will not facilitate the overall assembly. But, then again we’re aiming for all-out aluminum.

I got handlebars including gear-leavers and calipers to operate the discs. I will need a saddle though but then I’m good to go.

The steel framed (the little black bear) will be fitted with new shoes. Michelin Protek 42-622 black (yes they’re French, indeed). I’m looking forward to the switch (not changing them because that is a complete drag).

Will have to disassemble the wheels and straighten the rims too.

My Apologis

I installed the latest version 5.2 and this is the result… The update completely ruined my CSS tweaks, it made it look like this. I’m truly sorry. I will fix it, it will take some time, honestly at the moment I’m just gutted.

Wikipedia Needs Help!

April 29th, 2019 Comments off

I was shocked to realize that it must be less than a thousand of a percent, less than 0,001% (per mille), that has ever contributed to Wikimedias’s mission to make information free to everyone (they say less than 1%, but that cannot be correct, unfortunately).

Honestly, it sickness me to even contemplate the idea that I (personally) have contributed more than any news media outlet, paper or agency have done in the entire the World.

The fact that people are making a living of or is using Wikipedia commercially every single second without contributing a single dime or cent is simply re-vaulting!

Imagine a world in which every single human being can freely share in the sum of all knowledge.

We’re a non-profit. Less than 1% of our readers give, but we manage to serve hundreds of millions of people per month. Imagine if everyone gave? We could transform the way knowledge is shared online.

– 200,000+ editors contribute to Wikimedia projects every month

– 47+ million media files on Wikimedia Commons

– 1+ billion unique devices access Wikimedia projects every month

© Wikimedia 2017

The average donation is a reported (we don’t want “fake news”), $15 per 6,1 million donations.

It is a non-profit organization and that makes for an annual budget of roughly $91,5 millions. However, it is one of the top-ten most visited sites of the entire planet and it is “free”.

I’ve donated above the average in the past. Did I do it again? Yes, I recently donated, but below the average this time around.

Simple Q: What is wrong with you people? In reality?

When You Are To Tired To Sleep

April 20th, 2019 Comments off

Apparently it can happen? Probably when you are elderly, like I undeniable is.

Listening to… music, falling asleep and being awaken by music and then contemplating decades of listening.

Why? Honestly, I really don’t know.

L’Iliade

March 21st, 2019 Comments off

I have read it and it was a gift from my grandmother on my (not 100% sure) 15th birthday (when I indeed had ambitions).

I did not give it much thought at the time (I was fifteen or so, I did appreciate the gift) but now when I’m not fifteen any more and my grandmother has passed, I do think about the gift.

It makes me wonder… obviously it is classical literature, but it also something altogether different. I mean for starters it is not an easy read. And the fact that there are so very few that have actually read the piece in question. Like “On The Road” by Jack Kerouac.

– Why? Well, because you don’t have to read them.

And I’m not alone, yet my grandmother gave the books to me.

– You are the oldest?

– Yes, but I don’t think that is the reason why I was awarded the literal gifts.

I have read every single of the gifts and I guess that you simply don’t know anything about anything and that there is nothing called “chance”.

The Covent

March 20th, 2019 Comments off

This is what you don’t know. The eternal bass.

– What do you mean?

– The thing that you never understand. Like Serena never will or can understand June. Ever.

– The bass? It is eternal and will be so for an eternity and the ones playing it (correctly) will be and for an eternity my heroes.

– DJ Storm? She… that is… beyond words and if you can’t phantom the greatness?

– Then I pity you Fool!
